FREE ADMISSION. FREE POPCORN.

“It’s like a stoned, slapstick 1984; a nightmare comedy in which the comedy is just an aspect of the nightmarishness.” — Pauline Kael

Terry Gilliam’s masterpiece, BRAZIL is set in a futuristic society laden with red tape and bureaucracy. When a bug (literally) gets in the system, an innocent man is killed, leading mild-mannered Sam Lowry to reexamine what he wants out of life.

Cowritten by Gilliam, playwright Tom Stoppard, and Charles McKeown.

The film was selected by Andrew Sims, who will introduce the screening.
