FOOLISH

FOOLISH explores themes of human antiquity, mythology, collective memory and examinations of the self. Artists Fisher and Lyle are interested in the mystery and drama of archival photography and historical relics. Fisher explores medical curiosities through a series of drawings combining medical documentation, sideshow portraiture and herself as subject. Lyle works extensively in collage, creating shadow boxes, artist books and works on paper that explores themes of loss, devotion and whimsy.
Location: 205 Sydenham Street, Kingston, Ontario
Gallery Hours: Open- Thurs - Fri 2pm-7pm, Sat-Sun 11am-4pm + other times for special events/by chance.
Reasonable Space Rental rates available to artists wishing to exhibit their work and to groups and individuals wishing to hold events, shows, presentations, rehearsals etc. Opportunities to volunteer in exchange for discounts on space rental for emerging artists.
